Baked Salmon with Lemon and Herbs
Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, and basil)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- Additional fresh herbs, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and chopped herbs.
- Place the lemon slices in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the salmon fillets on top of the lemon slices.
- Brush the herb mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with additional fresh herbs before serving, and enjoy your delicious Baked Salmon with Lemon and Herb.
