Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe


Here's a recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery to the pan and cook until softened, about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Serve the spaghetti with the bolognese sauce on top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
