Here's a recipe for Tandoori Chicken:
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges and chopped cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, cayenne pepper (if using), lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to high heat.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped cilantro before serving.
